Bluegrass band to play the Pavilion

Playing a variety of bluegrass hits, Creekbend Bluegrass Band will perform a concert at the Pavilion. The concert will run from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 20, at the Pavilion, 60 S. Lincoln Ave.

Pavilion to host magic show

Gentleman Jim Gabor’s Magic Show will present a magic show at the Pavilion from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, July 14. The Pavilion is located at 60 S. Lincoln Ave.

Tribute band slated for OP show

E.L.I.: The Three Dog Night Tribute Band will perform a variety of hits at the Pavilion. The concert will run from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, at 60 S. Lincoln Ave.

Senior Center to host Medicaid talk

“Fourteen Ways to Preserve Your Assets with the Medicaid Laws” will be presented at 1:15 p.m. Monday, July 24, at the Orchard Park Senior Center, 70 Linwood Ave. Learn how to preserve assets and plan for incapacity with powers of attorney, health care proxies, living wills, trusts, long-term-care insurance, IRAs, pensions and other issues. Shred-it day set for July 14

Southtowns Financial Group will present a shred-it day from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, July 14, at 3438 Orchard Park Road. Attendees can drop off documents to be shredded and enjoy a provided lunch. The group will be collecting $5 per banker’s box, and all the proceeds will go to the All In, All The Time Foundation. This organization was founded in memory of Senior Chief Petty Officer Tom Valentine. The foundation works to serve the shortand long-term needs of the families of the Naval Special Warfare Community who lost a loved one.

Hunt Real Estate ERA to present mixer

Hunt Real Estate ERA will host the Orchard Park Chamber’s next business after hours mixer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 13, at the M Lounge, 4264 N. Buffalo St. Members and their guests can call the Chamber office at 662-3366 for reservations.

Buffalo and Brandy set for the Pavilion

Providing a younger audience a show involving art, music, magic and drumming, Buffalo and Brandy will play the Pavilion. The show will run from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, July 21, at the Pavilion, 60 S. Lincoln Ave.

Food Trucks and Fire Trucks event set

The Newton Abbott Fire Company will hold the third annual Food Trucks and Fire Trucks event from 6 to 11 p.m. Friday, July 14, at the fire station, 3426 Abbott Road. The event will feature a variety of food trucks, live music, a beer tent, a raffle, fire apparatus on display and a play area for kids. Proceeds from the event will benefit fire protection efforts. Market continues at Orchard Fresh

The second season of the Orchard Park Farmers & Artisans Market will run from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursdays in the parking lot in front of Orchard Fresh, 4050 N. Buffalo Road. Each week, the market will feature approximately 20 vendors, made up of a mix of local farmers and artisans, as well as two food trucks and live music.

Jolls House to hold annual lawn sale

The Orchard Park Historical Society will host its annual lawn sale and basket auction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday, July 14 and 15, at the house, 4287 S. Buffalo St. Collectibles, art, books, games, toys, jewelry and housewares will be for sale. Taffy’s Shake Truck will provide food. The basket auction winners will be announced at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Nativity of Our Lord to hold blood drive

Nativity of Our Lord Church will hold a blood drive from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 17, in the school cafeteria, 4414 S. Buffalo St. To donate, identification is required, and donors must be in good health, at least 17 years of age and weigh 100 pounds or more. The Erie County Wind Ensemble will present a free concert from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 13, at the Pavilion, 60 S. Lincoln Ave.

Professional vocalist Becky Davis will perform at the Pavilion. The concert will run from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 16, at 60 S. Lincoln Ave.

German band to play the Pavilion

Authentic German music will come to the Pavilion when The Frankfurters German Band plays the venue. The concert will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 23, at 60 S. Lincoln Ave.

Easystreet Big Band set for OP concert

Easystreet Big Band will feature an 18-piece band and a variety of big band classics in a concert from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at the Pavilion, 60 S. Lincoln Ave.

Taste of Orchard Park set for July 26

The Orchard Park Chamber of Commerce will present the 13th annual Taste of Orchard Park. The anchor event of Quaker Days will be held from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, at the Four Corners. Community summer band set for concert

Musicians of all ages from the Orchard Park Community Summer Band will perform at the Pavilion from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at the Pavilion, 60 S. Lincoln Ave.
